Colonel is one classy looking gelding!! He is just big enough and still easy to get on! He has a huge thick main and tail, rich shinny coat and a sweet soft eye. He has had tons and tons of outside riding miles! He has cattle and camping experience. Colonel is a great riding partner. He is tolerant and quiet, and laid back enough for most riders to get along with well. He has a great stop, backs up, turns around both ways, has a smooth, jog, will move out in a big pretty trot, and easy short lope. He can be used as an extra/guest horse. Colonel will neck rein or direct rein, ride in anything and has a great stop. He has super ground manners, very quiet to catch, lead, load, haul, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands tied anywhere, stands dead still for mount and dismount, and great for the vet and the farrier. He has been rode out alone, in groups, been down the side of the road, gathered cattle, hauled to arenas for events, and has been into town and handles traffic and commotion like a super-star. This is a very relaxed, sweet, well broke gelding that is a joy to ride.
