Boon is one you can always feel confident on! Boon is amazing inside and outside the arena! He confidently goes from one job to the next, steps up when asked and then is as relaxed as can be! He is excellent minded and one we have loved having with us! He was originally started as a cutter, used for turnback and then went into the ranch sorting classes. He's been used outside on large ranches to gather, sort, and drag calves. He is very level headed and has been used for all levels of riders. He trail rides out well and handles all type of terrains. He will tie to a high line, is broke to hobbles and ground ties well. He is independent of other horses and will trail ride out alone or in a group quietly. He will cross water, ditches, bridges, etc. and handles the urban trail setting like a champ! Boon is a finished breakaway and heel horse. Would make a great versitility mount, could go in the reining or reined cow, drill team or mounted shooting. He's very willing. He has a sweet jog and short lope, side passes, backs up, works a gate, melts into a hard stop whenever asked, neck reins, and will ride around looking fancy on a draping rein. He has excellent ground manners, easy to catch, bathe, tack up, stands for mount and dismount, ties anywhere, and super about new places and situations. Boon will crib kept stalled.
