Carmen is a beautifully built, athletic NCHA earning cutter with a ton of natural ability and a big sweepy stop! She is super correct and stays that way on her own. She has a great build making her job easy for her. Carmen is an Own Daughter of Cats Merada and out of Lola Starlight by Grays Starlight. She is a sister to Gracious Halreycious, earner of $71,856. She is as quick and athletic as they get, but also very forgiving. Can't say enough good about this mare, she is a special one that whoever gets will want to hold on to for a long time. She is a favorite and will make an incredible horse no matter what discipline she goes into from here. Carmen is an NCHA earner of $1620 and is ready to show at the weekend cuttings and ranch classes. Carmen has the start of a nice spin, turn arounds, side passes, backs up, works a gate, pretty little quiet lead changes, melts into a hard stop whenever asked, neck reins, and will ride around looking fancy on a draping rein. She is an absolute blast to ride on cattle, very light, quick, and responsive; but comfortable, not too touchy/sensitive. She rates a cow on her own, never gets up on top of them, but will step right up to one when asked. Super sweet on the ground, gentle and quiet to catch, bathe, tack up, stands for mount and dismount, ties anywhere, great with other horses, hauls like a pro, and super about new places and situations.
