Erick is such a great guy! He is a Once in a Lifetime Partner and has exceeded all of our expectations! You can't help but smile riding Erick! He is so easy to ride and so simple! He was originally started as a cutter and was kept as a turnback horse. He loves to work cattle. He is everyones' favorite! He is the go-to steady eddie guy and so fun for the more advanced riders as well. He rides out well alone or in a group. He is excellent in the pasture, around the working pens, gates, etc. Erick will sort, do the ranch work and has been roped off of. He has a great walk, smooth jog and short lope. He is easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, quiet for the vet and farrier, and stands for mount and dismount. He picks up both of his leads, has a nice stop and great neckrein. Watch his video and check out all his pictures!
