"LJ" is a classic. He has the old style big boned, muscled up, athletic quarter horse built to him that is so hard to find. He has a great handle on him and you will not find one better looking! LJ has been used for ranch work; roped and dragged calves to be doctored. He has been heeled of off and is quiet in the box. LJ has been sorted off of and is fun, easy, and knows where he needs to be on a cow! He is also quiet outside and seen lots of outside miles. LJ has a willing attitude and tries so hard to please! He is will move out when you ask, but does not get hot and in a hurry. The kind you can hangout on without him fidgeting! He is super settled and great just to hangout on! LJ has a soft mouth and will ride two handed in a snaffle, neck rein around in a full bridle or ride around no bridle at all! He has a big stop and can really get in the ground! He picks up both his leads well, has a flying change, will back up soft, will turn around, spin, side pass, work a gate, and move his hips and back a circle. LJ is light and responsive, but not too touchy. LJ has excellent ground manners, leads, loads, hauls, is great for the vet and farrier, stands for mount and dismount, easy to catch, lead, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands tied, great in new places and gets along well with other horses.
