Gypsy Creek Oleander ~14.2HH, 2016, Piebald, Gypsy Vanner Horse Society, Gelding **SOLD**
"Ollie" is what every Horse Lovers Dreams are made of! Ollie is a Once in a Lifetime Partner! He is ready to meet you at the gate, saddles and bridles quietly. Walk over to the fence or block, climb up, turn around and Ollie has already sidepassed up to as if to say, "Slide on, Lets go for a ride!" Ollie has been in all types of country and trail rides the very best. Ollie was used by a cowboy to day work and was duded in the mountains of Colorado and in the desert of Arizona. Ollie was broke to drive and was an essential part of a carriage business. He drives single or in a team. He’s done weddings, wagon rides in town, and private events! He’s carried the flag at the rodeo and has been in a big Fourth of July parade as well. Ollie has been used to teach lessons, and has even been started jumping! Ollie has been nothing short of wonderful for every task we have asked of him. Whether he’s Driving, riding English or Western, Ollie is sure to please! Ollie has been ridden by Ben(5), who has grown another 10 feet tall because of Ollie! Ben "helped" teach Ollie how to pick you up from the fence after which he flies on him bareback like a spider monkey! I have loved having one so unflappable around to let my kids play with! They have spent countless hours getting on and off from the fence, riding around bareback, sliding off and doing it again! When friends have come over to ride that live in town, Ollie goes around and around again, happily packing kiddo after kiddo. Ben is in charge, bumping him to the fence helping each friend climb on. Ben growns another 10 feet tall before my eyes! Ollie will sort and do basic ranch work. He has a nice walk, smooth jog and short lope. He has exceptionally smooth gaits. He will go out alone or with other horses. He is easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, and quiet for the vet and farrier. Stands for mount and dismount(from the fence, tailgate of the pickup, four wheeler, fender of the trailer or the ground!). Ollie has an excellent lope off, picks up both of his leads well, and has a great stop and neckrein. Watch his video and check out all his pictures! Ollie is sure to make more lifetime memories!
