Ruby is a stocky built, athletic NCHA money earning cutter! Roby has just under $5,000 in NCHA Earnings and has a ton of natural ability and a big sweepy stop! She is super correct and stays that way on her own. Just watch her work. She stays all nice and collected the whole time! She has a great build making her job easy for her. Ruby is an Daughter of Hydrive Cat and out of a CD Olena bred mare. She’s quick and athletic yet also will poke around and go slow on a loose rein, taking care of her rider. We can't say enough good about this mare, she is a special one that whoever gets will want to hold on to for a long time. She would make a great youth or senior mount; she moves smooth and easy to sit. Ruby is ready to show at the weekend cuttings and ranch classes. She has a sweet jog and short lope, gets around correct on her own when you ask for turn arounds, side passes, backs up, works a gate, quiet lead changes, does a hard stop whenever asked, neck reins, and will ride around looking fancy on a draping rein. She is an absolute blast to ride on cattle, very light, quick, and responsive; but comfortable. She rates a cow on her own, never gets up on top of them, but will step up to one when asked. Sweet on the ground, gentle and quiet to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, stands for mount and dismount, ties anywhere, great with other horses, hauls great & is super about new places.
