Penny is one of the best trail horses in the barn! She is a fantastic all around mare with lots of miles! Penny is a stunning buttermilk buckskin mare who is quiet, gentle natured, and a huge pet. She is a sweetheart that absolutely loves people and attention! She has a super smooth trot and lope, very soft mouth, great stop and backup, turns around both ways, neck reins or direct reins. She has great ground manners, puppy-dog gentle on the ground, easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied anywhere quietly for hours, great to clip, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, quiet for the farrier and for the vet, and stands dead still for mount and dismount. She has been used to move cattle and is super quiet. She is the best to trail ride on, confident out alone and in a group of horses, great in traffic and crowds. Has been hauled to events and is great in new places, rides the same away as she does at home, very settled and mature. This is a solid mare that is extremely good natured. She has been left off for weeks and saddles up as she was ridden yesterday.
