Tres is a versatile guy, finished as a ranch horse and has spent the last two years cross training dressage and jump training! He has a steady, quiet, been there, done that personality. He trail rides out well on a loose rein and handles all the obstacles like a pro. He has been well desensitized! He has been used to Gather, Sort and Drag calves on a large ranch. He steps up and does his job well while still being quiet. He backs up, turns around both ways, and walk, jog, lopes nice circles. Tres has a nice soft mouth, has a great neck rein, and an excellent stop. Under English tack, he takes the contact well and carries your hand forward nicely. He is honest and confident to his fences. He has super ground manners, quiet to catch, lead, load, haul, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands tied anywhere, stands still for mount and dismount, and great for the vet and the farrier. He has been ridden out alone, in groups, been down the side of the road, hauled to arenas for events, and has been into town and handles traffic and commotion like a super-star. This is a very relaxed, sweet, well broke gelding that is uncomplicated enough for just about anyone to get along with him very well.
