"Benita" is a classy penning, sorting, and trail riding mare! She has exceptionally smooth gaits, is very easy to ride, has a super light handle, and rides soft and easy! While being really soft, she's also super broke to your legs, making her a great mount for the beginner riders! She is a great teacher! She is finished and solid to pen and sort on, she is comfortable and easy, but has all the moves and speed that you need. Benita covers a range of riders. She is one that can teach the very basics and still have all the handle and feel left to teach higher level horsemanship skills. She has great ground manners, easy to catch, lead, load, haul, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, and quiet for the vet and the farrier. She gets along well with other horses and is happy kept outside or up in the barn. Stands tied well and great in new places. Benita is a great, solid, all-around mare that is broke, well bred, talented and extremely ride-able!
