BJ is the ultimate first horse/start horse/family horse! BJ is a total packer, has short, easy to sit, comfy gaits, an awesome little tiny jog and short lope. What is really special about him is he is also an athlete and can really get up and move, stop, and turn quickly when asked. This guy can babysit the little ones and beginners, build confidence, all the way to run speed events, sort, team pen, rope, and teach someone to cut. He is a finished cutter that has won money. He has an excellent handle and is a perfect starter barrel horse, playday mount, or team penner/ranch sorting mount. He also trail rides, rides
double, bareback, bridle-less, in a halter and lead rope, and is the kind you can just leave out in the pasture for weeks, pull up to ride and have a great, easy ride. Super ground manners, easy to catch, tack up, bridle, clip, bathe, stands tied like a perfect gentleman anywhere, loads, hauls, great in new places, trail rides out alone or with others. These kind of geldings that are both babysitters and athletes are hard to find!
