"Carrie" - 15H, 2007', red roan mare

Carrie is a huge, stout-made, gorgeous red roan mare!  She has been used for tons of ranch work, has been roped off of, and has thousands of trail miles!  She is super broke, has an excellent, one-handed handle on her.  Exceptionally good neck rein, nice short jog and easy lope, great stop, backs up, turns around both ways, side passes, works a gate, and stands dead still for mount and dismount.  Perfect ground manners, easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied quietly anywhere, great around other horses, easy to groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, and great for the vet and the farrier.    She is one of the best trail horses we have had, very brave and bold, goes anywhere that you point her!  Great in traffic and commotion, she has been up to town, across the highway, next to the highway, standing around forever at the drive thru, she is just a pleasure to be on.  She rides out just as happy alone as she does with other horses.  Carrie has a great all-around attitude about everything, laid back and patient, willing to just stand there when you ask her to, but goes right off of your leg too, not a dull, lazy deadhead.  If you are looking for a handy broke, go-anywhere on horse, this is your girl!
