Docs Iron Badger aka: "Ironman" - 14.3H, 2003', sorrel AQHA gelding

Ironman is an incredibly broke, quiet, honest, solid, guy.  He has been trained for ranch horse versatility and has been shown in all the events and consistently placed in the top 5 in the all-around scores.  He has a great stop, awesome lope off onto either lead, easy spins both ways, sidepasses, backs up, rollsback, has a lead change, works a gate, and he'll do it all with his bridle off!!!  He will jog and lope slow and balanced on his own like a western pleasure horse - so very easy and a joy to ride!  He has also been trail ridden extensively and has been camped on overnight, been hauled to rides all over the country.  Rides in traffic and crowds and handles events like the seasoned pro that he is!  He has also taught beginners, been used as a guest horse, and lots of first time riders.  He is sweet and tolerant, and well trained, responsive, but not too touchy or sensitive.  Ironman has also been used for sorting and penning, and has ran barrels at local jackpots.  He is a great confidence builder because he doesn't give you anymore speed than asked for and he is very smooth!  He has super ground manners, easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied quietly, easy to clip, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands for mount and dismount and for someone to climb up him bareback, and he is great for the vet and the farrier.  Ironman has excellent legs and feet, in great health, an easy keeper, happy in the barn or turned out, gets along great with other horses.  If you are looking for a solid, no-nonsense guy with a fancy handle, some athletic ability, but still as easy to ride as they come; this guy is as good as they get!
