"Chief" is an awesome broke, soft, smooth, easy to ride finished cutting penning and sorting gelding. This guy is relaxing and fun to ride. Gaits just don't get any better than this guy's, he goes around on a loose rein big soft stop, backs up, turns around both ways, will neck rein or direct rein, sidepasses, and works a gate. He has been ridden by all levels of riders and is a good confidence builder for a timid rider. He does not give you any more than you ask of him, he is a touch on the laid back side, not lazy, willing and easy to move around. He rides outside dead quiet alone as well as with other horses, great in traffic, crowds, and commotion. He has been hauled to big shows and seen all of the sights. This guy has the solid foundation to quickly make a rope horse or a barrel horse, and already has all the hauling experience underneath him. Great ground manners, easy to clip, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands for the vet and the farrier, and stands for mount and dismount, he comes to get you in the pasture, and hauls like a pro.
