Handy Lil Freckles - 14.2H, 2005', red roan AQHA gelding

"Handy" is a big, stout, very handy-broke gelding.  He is light, smooth, easy to ride, and goes anywhere you put him quickly and easily.  He will cut a cow, is a finished, proven, seasoned penning and sorting horse that has competed around the country and has won thousands.  He also runs barrels and is ready to haul right now!  He has the foundation,  cow sense, and speed to quickly make a rope horse.  Handy has a big, hard stop, easy turn around and rollbacks both ways, side passes, backs up quickly, has lead changes, and he rides in just a loose ring snaffle bit on a loose rein.  Also rides great bareback in a halter and lead rope.  Practically perfect ground manners, easy to catch, lead, load, haul, clip, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands tied anywhere quietly for hours, and great for the vet and the farrier.  Stands dead still for mount and dismount.  He is happy turned out or kept up in a stall.  He gets along well with other horses outside, in the barn, standing tied, in the warm up pen, and out on the trail.  He has been trail ridden extensively and has been up to town, quiet in traffic and crowds, and always great at events.  Handy is smooth and quiet and easy enough for just about any level of rider, and he has the handle and athleticism to do a real job well and win!  He is a solid, been there done that gelding that has had a job is seasoned and ready to go do absolutely anything you want to do on him!
