Lower The Boon - 14.3H, 2006', red roan AQHA gelding

Boon is absolutely a doll, everyone here loves this guy.  He is super easy, slow, comfy, and has a nice handle.  Boon is very easy and uncomplicated, an anyone can ride type of horse.  He is easy off your leg, does respond to leg cues, but does so slow and easy, so great for new riders or anyone that is timid.  Has had smooth gaits, a great stop, backs up, turns around, side passes, works a gate, lopes off nice on either lead, and stands dead still for mount and dismount.  Boon was originally trained as a cutting horse, but has been used for ranch work, trail riding, and for team penning and sorting.  He isn't super quick to pen and sort on, but goes where you point him and would be great for a kid or someone just starting out, he is easy and definitely isn't going to come out from under anyone!  Sweet on the ground, very easy to handle, easy to catch, groom, pick feet, bathe, clip, saddle, bridle, stands dead quiet for mount and dismount, great for the vet and farrier, loads, hauls, stands tied anywhere, and great in new places.  Boon also trail rides excellent and has been used in traffic,  This is kind of gelding that everyone is looking for - everyone needs one like him around!  To top it all off, he's super cute and unique colored!
