Smart Cutter Chex - 14.3H, 2007', chestnut AQHA gelding

Chex is a drop-dead gorgeous, super broke, easy-as-they-get gelding!  He is a finished reined cowhorse has been successfully shown locally in reined cowhorse and ranch horse versatility shows.  He is also a finished, automatic, easy, barrel horse, he'll breeze through the pattern beautifully and consistently in the 4/5D with a complete passenger rider, and can easily step up and hit in the 3/4D with a little pushing.  He'll pack his rider through the whole pattern smoothly, with one hand on the saddle horn the whole time!  If you need a starter barrel horse or playday horse for a timid rider, tiny rider, or grandma - this is you guy!  He has as smooth as they get gaits, an excellent neck rein and handle, and a hard stop; you couldn't ask for a nicer horse to start out on!  Absolutely no gate/alley issues, rides outside confidently with or without other horses.  He has been trail ridden in several different parts of the country as well!  Chex is nice and cowy and has been used for penning and sorting as well.  He has superb ground manners, excellent to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied anywhere, easy to clip, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands dead still for mount and dismount, quiet around other horses, great in new places, and perfect for the vet and the farrier.  You really have to sit on this guy and feel how extremely easy and no-nonsense he is, he is a sweetheart and so very willing!!!  If you want one that you can really do it all on and look pretty and confident while doing anything, look at this guy!
