Star Truffle - 14.3 HH, 2009', sorrel/overo APHA gelding ** SOLD **

Star Truffle is a super cute, easy, finished Reiner. He was originally trained by Tim McQuay as a reiner and then several years doing competitive trail, stock horse pleasure, sorted cows outside, has been roped off of, and trail ridden extensively. He has done a little bit of everything and even been ridden English and jumped a little bit! Star Truffle is by RR Star, out of a Smart Play, Doc's Oak mare. He is quiet as he can be, has great stops, spins, circles, lead changes, works a gate, goes over trail obstacles nicely, carries a flag and drags a barrel. He is easy to ride and show. He has been left off work and came back with no problems. He is easy to warm up, has a great neck rein and carries a full bridle well. He has easy to sit gaits and is a push style so doesn’t want to go faster than you do! This is a great gelding for reining, cowhorse, S.H.O.T. or anything you want him for. He is a steady eddie personality and great for kids. Star Truffle has great ground manners, good around others in the barn, pasture, riding in a group, and standing tied. He is easy to catch, lead, load, haul, clip, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, great for the vet and farrier, and stands for mount and dismount. Super fun guy ready to go have fun doing lots of different jobs!
