"Clay" is the perfect confidence booster, beginner horse, youth/amateur show horse, or first horse. Clay has no vices or bad habits, he is a gentleman, lazy - never in a hurry to get anywhere. Clay has the perfect little pitter-patter jog and lope, very comfy, easy and fun to ride bareback. Neck reins, stops on a dime, responds well to "whoa" from any gait, neck reins, backs, side passes, pivots on forehand and hind quarters, nice lope off, easy to frame up, and carries himself on his own. Clay goes English, western, jumps, runs barrels/poles, and super quiet out on the trail both alone and in a group. Clay has an impressive show record, multiple ROMS, 104 APHA points! Points in both Novice, Amateur and Open divisions! Clay has points in halter, showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, trail, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat equitation. Amateur showmanship ROM, Open western pleasure ROM, Youth trail ROM, and Youth horsemanship ROM. Has won futurity money, and won the $1000 gelding plus award at zones. Clay is an awesome, consistent show gelding, always hi-point or reserve hi-point. Clay has taken care of many young riders. Claytons Blue Jake - 14.3HH, 2005', bay roan AQHA gelding Sold! Clayton is a sweet, easy to ride gelding. He has nice soft gaits, a good stop, backs up, has been trail ridden, used on a working ranch, used for riding lessons, he is a great roping prospect, could go to playdays, or ranch work. Clayton has a smooth, easy to sit lope, he is in no hurry to go anywhere, very relaxed, rides around on a nice loose rein. This is a big, GORGEOUS gelding, broke, and ready to go any direction. "Billy" - 15.3HH, 2001', red roan Belgian gelding Sold! Billy is a big, slow, sweet-as-can-be draft gelding. He is the easiest horse to catch, comes tromping up to you when he sees you coming, he is like a big pet dog. Billy is quiet on the ground, good with his feet, easy to tack up, brush, bridle, ties well to the trailer and in the barn. Billy is an awesome trail horse, he rides out well alone and in groups. Billy has been used for riding lessons, he rides quiet in the arena with other horses, has a good stop, backs up, gives both ways. Has super fun, big, slow gaits. Billy is a typical draft, he is SLOW and lazy about just about everything he is asked to do. He walks and trots easily, but takes some serious encouragement to get into a lope. He knows his leads, stops easily from a lope on "whoa". Absolutely no buck, rear, kick, bite, etc., a very kind, gentle guy. We have not found anything that spooks Billy, he is confident out on the trail, very laid back and relaxed. Priced right for a quick sale, this is one cool horse!!! Boons Lil Freckles - 15.1HH, 2006', bay AQHA gelding Sold! Boons is an honest, sweet as can be, dead quiet young gelding. He has had over a year of professional training, he will make an awesome all-around horse. Boons has been hauled and is great in new places, ties to the trailer quietly, loads and unloads with no fuss. Very good on the ground, easy to clip, bathe, bridle, great for the vet and farrier. Never ever walks off when someone walks out to catch him, he usually comes to you. This guy has been handled right the whole way, he is a fresh clean slate with a rock solid foundation, ready to go on in any direction. He has an awesome pedigree, great all-around show prospect for a kid, could make a rope horse, team pennner, reiner, playday horse, this guy could do it all! Up to date on all cares, coggins, shots, farrier, and worming. Ready to go! "Cooter" - 15.2HH, 1998', grey quarter horse gelding Sold! Cooter is an awesome guy to have around, everybody needs at least one horse like this guy on their place. Cooter is super quiet, well trained, and very "user friendly"! Just about anyone can ride him, he has a nice easy trot, smooth, rocking-horse lope, and PERFECT brakes. He stops quickly and easily from any gait; off seat, rein, or just say "whoa". Cooter is fun to ride bareback and rides great in a halter and lead rope. He has one of the best neck reins, can ride him with no bit at all, just a rein around his neck! Cooter is practically perfect on the trail, he rides well out alone or in a group, will willingly leave the group and does not care if the group leaves him. Not barn or horse sour, can lead the group, or happily follow along. He will walk around just about anywhere, relaxed and on a long, loose rein. Cooter has been used as a rope horse, ranch horse, been used for riding lessons, beginners and first time riders out on the trail, and he has been used for handicapped riders. If you are looking for a fun, safe, easy gelding...they just do not get much better then this! Ex Me In aka: "Otis" - 15.2HH, 2001', sorrel AQHA IF gelding Sold! Otis, is a BIG, broke, laid-back guy. He is the ultimate pleasure horse for a recreational rider. Otis has been around and been exposed to just about everything. He has been on a working ranch, used for ranch work, worked cattle, has been on trail rides, he's traffic broke, crosses water, bridges, been through tunnels. He has been exposed to bikes, 4-wheellers, trains, fast and slow moving traffic, dogs, cats, kids, and crowds. Otis takes pretty much anything you throw at him in stride, he's easy to tack up, bridle, great with his feet, ties in the barn and to the trailer, loads, bathes, and easy to catch. He has been kept both up in a stall and turned out in a group, he is low maintenance and an easy keeper. Otis is great for trail riding, he has also been used for riding lessons. He has an easy trot and lope, he is on the lazy side, has a good "whoa", backs, pivots, stands quiet for mount and dismount. Otis will also really ride around, he has nice roll-backs, will lope off on either lead, do flying changes, and a big, hard stop. He is a nice looking gelding and would be suitable to take to local/4H/starter level shows, could also go to local playdays. Up to date on all cares, farrier, vet, shots, coggins, and worming. "Chester" - 15.2HH, 1997', bay paint gelding Sold! Chester, is a sweet, safe, quiet guy, he's been used for riding lessons and has a ton of trail miles. Chester is gentle and easy to handle, on the lazy side. Great walk, trot, and lope - lazy about loping! Stops easy from any gait. Chester has an awesome personality, very friendly, easy to catch. Chester has been used for English and western beginner lessons, and for trail riding. He rides great bareback in just a halter and lead. Chester would be perfect for a family, he wants to be a pet, he thinks he is a big dog. Good ground manners, quiet with his feet, ties well to the trailer and in the barn, jumps right in the trailer. Treasured With Rain aka: "Shelly" - 15HH, 2003' sorrel/overo APHA mare Sold! If you are wanting to stand out in the crowd, here is your horse!!! Shelly is a knock-out, she is gorgeous, very unusually marked, you do not see many like this! Shelly is an experienced trail horse, she has lots of miles on her, hauls very quiet, ties to the trailer and in the barn, loads great, easy to tack up, bridle, bathe, catch, good in a stall and kept turned out in the pasture. Shelly trail rides quiet alone and in a large group, she crosses water, has been through ditches, up and down steep banks and hills, has been exposed to traffic, crowds, loud noises, etc. Shelly will ride well just about anywhere, there is not much of anything that bothers this girl! Shelly has been used for English and western riding lessons. She has been started on the barrels and poles, started on her lead changes. She would be great for a 4H kid, a nice prospect for going to the local barrel jackpots, playdays, or team penning/ranch sorting competitions. Shelly rides nice, has a naturally low head set, rides in just a snaffle bit, no tie down. Has an excellent, hard stop on her, and a nice, soft, easy-going lope. In great shape, up to date on everything and ready to go! San G Pep "Admiral" - 15.2HH, 1989', grey AQHA gelding Sold! Admiral is a cool old guy that is broke enough for absolutely anyone and a blast to ride. If you want a horse that rides the same every time every where, whether you rode him yesterday or last year, whether it is hot outside or it is cold and windy, whether you are alone or in a group, whether you are out in the open or in an arena, whether you are at home or just got him out of the trailer at a brand new place; then you will love this horse! Admiral has had all ages and levels of riders on him, he is fun for anyone with just about level of experience/inexperience. He has smooth, pitter-patter gaits, an easy jog and the smoothest lope you could ask for. Admiral stops on a dime off of your seat, reins, and/or voice, he neck reins well, has automatic flying lead changes, neck reins wonderfully, spins, backs, has a fun handle on him. Admiral is a great teacher, very sweet, kind, and easy going. Admiral is easy to catch, leads quietly, ties anywhere, great with his feet, hops right in the trailer. "Blair" - 14.1HH, 2004', grey mare Sold! PRICE REDUCED - Blair needs a new home with a job! -Owner has moved and Blair needs to sell. Blair has a ton of potential! This little pony would be a great re-sell project, investment pony, or a great show prospect for a young rider on a budget. Blair is a gorgeous little hunter/jumper pony, she is well started over fences, has great ground manners, walk, trot, canters quietly. She has willing, non-fussy lead changes. This little mare loves her job, has never, ever stopped at a jump. With a some time and consistent riding she should be super-easy and pack any kid around a course. Blair has been lightly used as a lesson horse, not for complete beginners, but kids that walk/trot and are learning to canter do well on her, with trainer's supervision. She is easy to her fences, a kid can do cross rails and a little 2' course. She has been jumped up to 3'3" and will easily be able to do the pony jumpers. Blair has been kept in both in a stall and turned out in a pasture, is happy either way. She leads, clips, bathes, hops right in the trailer, good with her feet, stands tied quietly. Blair has been successfully shown locally, does great with all the commotion, hauling, noise, crowded arenas, etc. Blair has also been trail ridden and is quiet outside as well as in the arena. |
