Full brother to LB Texas Twist Shy Docs Orphan Lady aka: "Mandy" - 14.2HH, 2000', red dun AQHA mare Sold! Mandy is a super sweet, low maintenance, easy going, simple as could be mare. She has great gaits, nice little pitter patter jog, smooth short lope. Lopes off nicely on either lead, rides around on a loose rein in just a snaffle bit, good stop from any gait. Trail rides, rides English, western, and bareback. Easy to catch, super ground manners, quiet for the farrier, easy to bridle, tack up, groom bathe, load, ties well anywhere. Good with her feet, head, ears, can rub and touch all over her, climb all over her, nothing bothers this girl. Does not care about dogs, cats, chickens, bikes, other horses, kids running around, etc. She has been turned out all winter, she is out of shape and still has her long winter coat on. She is a cute mare and will look gorgeous this summer once she really fattens up and has a shiny slick coat. Mandy is the type you can leave turned out for a month, pull up out of the pasture, hop on and go for a trail ride, or let the kids ride around on. Really nice mare, great all-around family horse or first timer horse. Shadow of Spike - 15.1HH, 2003', bay AQHA gelding Sold! "Spike" is a big, gorgeous, dead-broke ranch gelding. This guy has been-there, done-that, seen-that. Spike has been bred, owned, and raised by one ranch, has been a ranch gelding his whole life and also used for the grandkids to ride around on. He is solid and suitable for any age or level of rider. Has an awesome, smooth as you can find lope, great little pitter patter jog. Stops quickly and easily from any gait. He neck reins so well, he can ride all over the arena and even outside with his bridle off at the walk, trot, and lope! Very tolerant of rider error, good minded, and a little on the lazy side. Will work when asked, can move out, has a good handle, cowy. One of the best things about him is after working quick, fast, and hard, will immediately settle and walk off relaxed on a loose rein. Would make a great first horse for anyone, perfect for a kid doing local playdays. Great sorting or penning horse, and could do ranch horse versatility and low key horse shows. Great on the trail both alone and in a group, traffic broke, hauls like a pro, hops right in the trailer, ties quietly anywhere, ground ties, super easy to bridle, tack up, pick feet, bathe. These kind do not go up for sale every day! "Alfred" - 16HH, 1998', brown paint gelding Sold! Alfred is a big, unique, one of a kind guy!
