Pitchfork Bars aka: "Mel-Mel" - 15.3H, 2001', sorrel tobiano APHA gelding
Mel-Mel is a big, pretty, ranch horse. He has been used for trail riding, ranch work, roped off of, and has been ridden down the side of the road. Mel Mel has a nice, easy to sit lope, good hard stop, simple, uncomplicated handle, nice neck rein, backs up, rollsback both ways, knows his leads, and trail rides relaxed on a loose rein. Good ground manners, easy to catch, bridle, tack up, groom, good with his feet, hops right in the trailer, ties anywhere. This a big nice, all-around gelding, would make a great playday horse, trail horse, or starter rope horse.
Fritz Royal Gem - 15H, 2006' sorrel AQHA gelding Sold!
Gem is an awesome little all-around gelding, the best personality you could ask for, so sweet and fun to be around. Great sorting horse, has had a year of reining training, has a great handle, hard stop, gives his face and goes on the bit nicely, collected and the trot and lope, spins both ways, neck reins or direct reins. Gem is easy and simple to ride and has smooth, comfortable gaits. Stands dead quiet for clipping, bathing, mounting and dismount, easy to bridle, tack up, groom, blanket, awesome with his feet, hops right in the trailer, hauls quietly, will stand tied and fall asleep anywhere. Trail rides out alone or in a group, great in crowded arenas, and quiet in new places. Gem would make an awesome family horse, trail riding horse, sorting and penning horse, all-around 4H show horse for a youth, and he could make a great little rope horse or a playday horse. Quiet every time you go to get on him, he can be left in his stall a week, or turned out for several weeks, and just tack him up, get on and go ride. Just a very pleasant, easy horse to have around, he wants to please.
Chip is a solid broke, all-around gelding. He is ranch broke and has a great neck rein, hard stop, knows his leads, has flying lead changes, has been used at rodeos, has been a flag horse, and also has been ridden in parades. Chip has been to playdays and local barrel races and runs a nice consistent barrel pattern. Has also been used to check fences and cattle, has been pasture roped off of and could make a starter rope horse. Trail rides out alone just as well as he does with others. He is the perfect age, in great health, good feet, and an easy keeper. Solid ground manners, easy to catch, bridle, tack up, self loads in the trailer, hauls quietly, and ties anywhere. Cute friendly personality, this guy will make a great addition to any family or ranch.
Little Pep is one of those exceptionally well broke, been-there, done-that, seen-that, and won-that kind of horses. These kind are hard to find, he is solid as they get, no vices or bad habits. Has had years of professional training, easy to ride, smooth as they get, has been hauled, and knows his job. Sweet personality, wants to be your buddy and is friendly. Little Pep is an awesome first horse, he can ride slow and quiet, but has enough of a fancy handle to let you know move up and excel. Excellent sorting horse, has won over $2,000 at sorting competitions, he is easy enough for someone just starting out to ride, but is quick enough for a more aggressive rider to be competitive on. Great health, easy keeper, can be kept up in a stall or turned out. Hops right in the trailer, ties anywhere quietly, easy to catch, bridle, pick feet, groom, tack up, bathe, clip, and great for the vet and farrier. Super trail riding horse, can ride quietly in a group, or he is confident out alone as well. This guy would be a great 4H horse, trail riding horse, pleasure horse, family horse, playday horse, and is an excellent competitive team penning and sorting horse. Paddy is an easy going, well broke, riding gelding. Paddy does not do anything fancy, but he is a sweet, simple guy that just about anyone can ride. He has smooth, easy gaits, knows his leads, has a good stop, backs up, rides relaxed on a loose rein. Super trail riding horse, quiet outside alone or in a group. Nice and easy to handle on the ground, sweet personality. Easy to catch, tack up, bridle, bathe, load, good with his feet, and ties anywhere. Easy keeper, just pasture kept and barefoot. Will make a great personal pleasure riding horse, trail horse, or family horse. Really nice, sweet guy, everyone who rides this guy loves him, just an easy, pleasant gelding.
Ready On Five aka: "Ms Piggy" - 14.2H, 1998', sorrel AQHA mare Sold!
Ms Piggy is the ultimate kid's playday horse, and is as easy to ride as they come. Ms Piggy has an absolutely exceptional handle, very broke, rides around with no bridle, huge hard stops, and great roll backs. Easy to sit, smooth gaits, complete power steering, the best neck rein you can find! Ms Piggy has barrel training and has been used for sorting, has also been used outside for ranch work. Just about anyone who can sit on a horse could handle this mare, but she needs a rider who wants to do something as she is a little jiggy and ready to go. Would rather work than relax and walk on a loose rein. No Alley issues, will easily trot the barrel pattern, and has awesome brakes. She is not touchy or overly sensitive, no buck, suitable for a youth rider, just needs someone who will give her a job. Will settle right down and stand quiet when you are done working, but while you are working she is jiggy and ready to go. Loves her job and is extremely willing, gives her rider everything that she has. This mare could make an awesome drill team horse or junior rodeo horse. Great breakaway roping or calf roping prospect, she has everything she needs to make one easily. Super nice ground manners, easy to catch, ties, loads, hauls, good for the farrier, clips perfectly, and bathes. Can sit out for weeks with no problem, the videos posted were taken after her having been turned out for several weeks this winter. The kind that you can just go get out of the pasture, no tuning on, and haul to an event to compete on. You do not find these everywhere!
